See if you have two Windows themes in the Scribus theme selector in preferences. We recently had a report that one worked ok with non standard styles. Scribus 1.3.3.8 usually runs fine with all styles suppled on XP, you dont need classic. It seems to relate to Qt rather than Scribus code.. however unless a bug is actually found, we probably wont fix or be able to fix it until our Qt4 releases start. Right now, all efforts are on 1.3.4. Craig
