The list has an explicitly permissive policy where people should feel entirely free to use their own language if they're more comfortable with that. If you don't want to deal with mails in languages you don't speak, the delete button works well. I do understand what you're getting at, though I'm personally 100% happy with people using whatever languages they prefer. The vast majority of the list speaks English (and a couple of other languages in probably the majority of cases), so more expertise will be available overall for mail in English. -- Craig Ringer
