I have sort of lost track of where I am, I just did the above command and made a Scribus on a brand new Kubuntu. The "About" tells me it is 1.3.3.10 CVS dated 20 May 2007. Just wondering if that is correct or should I be checking out something else to be up to date with what you are doing? Not too svn savvy at the moment :-( Owen
