I was trying to help you last night on IRC. Hopefully someone who has Ubuntu can help. From what I understand, this was supposed to be only occurring with qt3, not qt4, so I don't know if this is a new bug or not. BTW, what is the build date on your 1.3.5svn? check Help > About Scribus Greg
