[scribus] error message

Using 1.3.5
Just got this error message when trying to set preferences with no document 
open.
It repeated 5 times after each click  then produced the Preferences dialog.

/home/roger250/Scribus135/share/scribus//editorconfig/200_gnuplot.xml failed!
Depending on the type of the error render frames might not work correctly!
1:0:Unexpected element at root level, Token String: Invalid 1:0:Premature end of
document.
