As far as I know that's a bitmap font - a "screen" font. If you don't have an associated Type 1 or TrueType font then Scribus cannot use it, because Scribus requires scalable fonts. When you use it in other programs do they let you pick any point size? Or are you restricted to only a particular set of point sizes? If they do let you pick any size, does it start looking chunky and horrible at really big point sizes? -- Craig Ringer
