[scribus] sample.pdf on FLES site is "damaged"

Hi--

I'd like to view the manual sample at
http://www.flesbooks.com/scribus1.3manual/sample.pdf

...but Adobe Reader (v8 and v9) tell me that the "file is damaged" and 
cannot be repaired.   Is this a known problem?
