Well, first off, in a reply to another post I made at the same time, someone gave me the link to the bug page. After searching I found that this bug has already been reported. It is listed as "minor" and is not marked as fixed. Although I wouldn't class it as a showstopper, I would consider it more than minor. The only way I can get text containing a - into a frame is to write it in another text editor and then copy and paste into the frame. That is because when I type - in a frame it changes the zoom level, and does *not* enter the - into the text. As for the version, I just did Help > Check for Updates and it said I had the latest version. But Update Manager (I am on Intrepid) did see a new version, so I installed it. The Help > About Scribus says the same build, but the date is now April 5, 2009, so thanks for uploading the latest version. And after relaunching Scribus I tried a new document, created a text frame, type - into it, and the zoom level still went to half what it had been. Oh well, hopefully the April 5 version will resolve other issues. Thanks again.
