[scribus] Can't export PDF correctly

I'm trying to find the fix I was told would be released at the end of last week 
for a problem I was having exporting PDFs, using 1.3.5.0 on Vista (and not 
fixed in 1.3.5.1.) It was bug report 8326. I haven't seen anything since. Can 
anyone enlighten?
