Just as a work around, to fix the problem for production, use PDF-Shuffler http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfshuffler/ I imported the bad pdf, then imported the good cover, then deleted the bad cover and lastly rearranged the pages and exported as a new pdf See http://members.pcug.org.au/~rcook/scribus/test.pdf for the result HTH Owen
