hi jessica, >>i can confirm: even in 1.3.5 (or 1.5... i have to get used to the new name :-) line handles don't snap to guides >>can you post a bug to bugs.scribus.net >I'm not familiar with the bug posting process. At some point I'll suck >it up and learn how, but right now deadline + Unknown Fault Exception >Error = my life sucks and no time to learn to report bugs. Ironic!<br>
the problem is, that proposition on the mailing list can't be retained by the devs. posting a bug report won't be much more than copy pasting the content of your mails into bugs.scribus.net... you've put much energy in the proposals you've made... it would be sad if they get lost*! (the biggest step, is to ask for an account...) >I do appreciate that the properties box can be used to change line >length. Maybe the developers are simply assuming everyone will use the >properties box, for increased precision. use it and make your friends use it! the devs assume you will use the PP beacause it *is* the core, the control center of scribus. if you don't use it, you will miss most of the scribus functionalities (and it's just a F2 away...) however, you're making very good suggestions and i hope that they will get implemented*! have fun a.l.e * since the proposition are well formulated and interesting, i may put them in the bug reporting system myself... but not before this evening...
