ok, so what do you suggest? i have a small hard drive on my laptop, dual
boot win xp and linux. i would like to access the scribus files on an
external drive formatted ntfs (plus ooo docs, images, pdf, etc. sort of
files). i have tried debian, but i can't get things to work like i want. i
am new to linux and for what you are suggesting to me i'm going to have to
have some serious hand holding. you up to it off list?

cheers,
dwain
