Dear list member gurus,

I have a problem with one of my font files, it won't be loaded by Scribus
neither 1.3.5.1 nor 1.3.6svn-090827.

My problematic font is DIN Condensed, a commercial TrueType font I bought from
MyFonts.com. Its foundry is ParaType, release year 1998.

The error message of Scribus:

Font E:\Work\Fonts\DinCondensedETT.ttf has broken glyph 65535 (charcode
65535)

I have also found a similar problem by someone on this mailing list, with a
different font, but referring the same glyph number (see
http://lists.scribus.info/pipermail/scribus/2007-August/022902.html). I'm no
font guru myself but the charcode suggests the problematic character is the
very last one in the file, possibly not a character I'd normally use.

Is there a way to "force" Scribus to still load the font file? If not, what
else can I do? Contacting the font vendor or foundry is possible the longest
path I could take.

Thank you,

T
