Hey everybody!

Unless the picture is still on top and just has transparency, that is the 
effect I would want. It is the default in InDesign, where you have to check 
that a text box ignores text wrapping, if you don't want to wrap the text 
around any object.
As Rob pointed out that by adding an extra (transparent) object on the level 
above the text, this can be achieved in Scribus. But extra objects of course 
mean extra pain. While the InDesign way was fine with me so far, I think the 
most flexible way would be to have a list, where you can check on what layers 
the flow property of the object should wrap the text. That way you can always 
put text on a layer that doesn't flow around just specified objects, if you 
don't want it to.

I hope I could explain, what I mean.
