Hi a.l.e., thank you very much for trying to help me. I am not getting my checksums from chip.eu, I am just saying that I couldn't find the checksum for scribus-1.3.9-win32-install.exe - neither on the scribus site, nor on the sourceforge site (as I said, only for the scribus *source*). So I ran a Google search and found that chip.eu gives the same ckecksum for *both* 1.3.8 and 1.3.9, which, as you also pointed out, doesn't make any sense. That's why I am asking on this list, hoping that somebody from the Scribus team can tell me the checksum for scribus-1.3.9-win32-install.exe or, maybe, tell me that there doesn't exist a checksum for scribus-1.3.9-win32-install.exe.
