There has been some recent discussion of importing footnotes in text from OOo which reminds me that I am about to install the new OOo 3.2 on my Fedora 11 x86_64 computer.
I am using Scribus 1.3.5.1 from the Fedora repositories. For my work Scribus is the end of the food chain, gobbling up files that I create in OOo, Inkscape and the Gimp. Of these sources, files from Writer are the most critical. I am not actually concerned about footnotes (although I know others on this list are), but I wonder if anyone else has imported text from OOo 3.2 yet. I note that the Linux version finally uses OpenType fonts, so there may be some significant changes to the way it handles text. Does Scribus have any problems with importing text from OOo 3.2?
