you can and you should... that way you can proof what scribus has produced before getting it to paper... take it as a sort of print preview. and you will be sure that what you are printing is what your print shop will get. and yes, this workflow is also due to the fact that it may (or may not) hard to print directly from scribus. it depends on your OS and how it is installed. ciao a.l.e
