It's been around since 1.3.4 or so. At least for two years, that is.

So you haven't noticed a much saner layout in the Colors tab?

How about pattern fills? More types of gradient fills including gradient meshes?

How about mentioning better support for AI files (meshes, symbols),
preview available for all supported vector file formats?

You probably want spending more time with Scribus first :)
