Inkscape 48 has a cover template generator that will reset the page dimensions and set the guides for a perfect bound book cover. Scribus doesn't. Perhaps it should.
I came up with a template calculator here for use with Scribus: http://wexfordpress.net/template.html But this only delivers the values for the overall dimensions and the guide locations. These values must then be keyed into Scribus. If a true template calculator that resets the page dimensions and generates the guides could be developed then this would be better IMO. Anyone else think this would be a useful add-on? -- John Culleton Wexford Press "Create Book Covers with Scribus" Printable E-book 38 pages $5.95 http://www.booklocker.com/books/4055.html
