Hi, i have a huge pdf form with more than 1000 fields and recently had to modify it and now the tab order is messed up.( https://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=865 ) I'm aware, that I can set tab order by changing the level of the fields - as described here: http://nashi.altmuehlnet.de/pipermail/scribus/2005-February/009044.html - but for 1000+ fields that not an option for me, because it would need thousands of clicks.
But I guess I found a much easier workaround for this. At first I changed the level of the first three fields to 1, but then the tab order was reversed, so the last field I changed was the first in tab order, then the second one and so on. So I changed the level of those fields to 1 in reverse order and got the right tab order. In short: If you don't need levels, change the level of the fields to 1 in reverse order. As noone has mentioned this as a note on https://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=865 I thought it may be not known but helpful to some - maybe someone with an account there could leave a note, I don't care enough to create one myself. Only problem may again be that it is hard to modify. PS: Is there some sort of ETA for a true tab order feature? Greetings
