1) OpenType fonts with Postscript outlines *cannot* be embedded in PDF versions scribus support and consequently the original format cannot be preserved in this case. 2) Regenerating a font from an existing font in the original format is a task for a font specialist which we aren't. Adobe has those resources, we have not. 3) The Type 3 method just works for any font. Jean
