I haven't followed all the discussions of printer problems in the past because I haven't had a working printer at home for years so I've always used PDF export.
But what are the problems people have with printing? As far as I understand it is almost always related to page scaling and or rotation? Or are people also having big problems with colors and fonts? I don't have much knowledge on how different printing systems work, I think that on Linux postscript is what applications generally output and then the printing system uses for example ghostscript to convert that to something the printer "can eat"? I would guess that postscript also is what is used on OS X? And if Scribus can output a PDF that is "correct", I would think that it can also output postscript that is "correct", so most of these errors would then be that Scribus integration with the printing system lacks something telling the printing system how to (not) scale and rotate the pages? /Peter
