you must be trying to compile ScribusOIF. The regular 1.5.0 doesn't need icu. I can't recall what I did, but I think I must have found icu and compiled it, because I couldn't get header files from fedora's repository. I tried using Scripter2 and it didn't work, but that was a while ago. Greg Greg
