Hi, First a friendly request not to top post. Here is why: https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Posting_style <snip> First, we are about to release 1.4.0 in the next few days. So please grab a copy of 1.4.0.rc1. It is *way* nicer, faster, more feature complete. We will update all the download links and docs to reflect this change. Second, you can start Scribus from a command prompt and use the -pi switch to launch Scribus and see if the profile is being reject as non-conformant. Example: C:\Program Files\Scribus-%version\Scribus.exe - -pi or =h for all the options. On launch, Scribus runs some basic tests to see if color profiles are basically sane before using them. Marti Maria, who is the author of littlecms which Scribus uses for color management estimates 20-25 of the color profiles shipped with hardware is defective somehow or another. Moreover, we disable these defective profiles as they can cause crashes in Scribus, as well as problems downstream when embedded into a PDF or Postscript file. If you wish, you can forward the profile in question for more detailed analysis with some special tools we developers use for color management. Hope that helps, Peter -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.15 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk1ixM8ACgkQ73uV5/YBZtqzcQCghZe/3tTKnzDhXH+Xb5J2h51V xMUAoLP6Sjf1F7TuzK8fCfpk/qRoQ3Uu =OBiL -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
