Shouldn't be. You didn't say what Scribus version. I just checked my 1.3.8 on XP, and they showed up in the initial dialog in the New > From Template tab. You might fish around. My built-in templates were located in C:\Program Files\Scribus 1.3.8\share\templates See if there is anything in there. If there is nothing, then re-download Scribus. Also, I checked 1.3.3.14, and find a similar situation. Greg
