While I can see reasons to want this under certain conditions, when laying out a print publication, such as a periodical, this would NOT be useful, IMO. I want complete control where the next frame will be placed AFTER I have imported the text. Unlike what was suggested for your use, I never make multiple frames resembling the next page and want Scribus to just pick up the next available frame for linking to the current frame. I may have a placeholder frame on a page that I do NOT want to be used by Scribus for the current article overflow. Again, useful to some, that concept doesn't allow me the control over placement that I need. The overriding concept here is that many of us use Scribus with varied targets. While mine is a print magazine, others are just trying to achieve a web based pdf. There is a world of difference between the tools and techniques required for these two targets and the many in between. -- John Ghormley KJ4UFG Editor, SERA *Repeater Journal* Walkertown, NC USA editor at sera.org -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
