I haven't had much luck building 1.5.0 (Rev 16705) on this new Ubuntu-11.04 Natty.
Would I be correct in thinking, see the gdb bt below, that the cairo is "faulty" although 1.4.0 builds ok I will try on a fedora to see if there is a difference.
