ciao aleksander, > Scribus 1.3.3.13.dfsg~svn20081228-2ubuntu2. brrrr... first step: upgrade to scribus 1.4.1!
and tables are still very basic in scribus 1.4.x and i don't think that there is any support for them in the scripter. but you can create "pseudo" tables from the scripter. who knows if it's enough? you'll get fancy tables in 1.6 (see todays review by jluc, that has been posted on the -dev mailing list for some details: http://lists.scribus.net/pipermail/scribus-dev/2012-June/001630.html it's still a work in progress, but it's very promising) aleksander, personally, i have the feeling that it's time for you to show some more details about what you are trying to do... i have the feeling that i often give you informations that bring you on bad paths... i understand that you don't want to disclose too much about your business ideas, but you're asking for free help from a community, and you need to give the necessary information to the community if you want to get replies of higher quality. as i said at the beginning of the whole discussion: whether you can (and you should) use scribus for your project or not depends very much on the needs of your project. the details count here! it's really ont a a clear cut case... buona fine settimana a.l.e
