Hi! I wanted to use ligatures in one of my scribus documents. Since OpenType support is still not available after more than 7 years of work < http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=1413>, and inserting them by hand is a pretty tedious task, I wrote a script for automating it.
You have to define yourself the pairs and of course it works only with ligatures mapped as characters (no support for truetype or opentype ligatures). It is not as advanced as this <http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=9768> but in the meantime, there is something working... I did also put it on the wiki < http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Apply_basic_ligatures_to_a_document> so try it, comment it, and make it better ;-) Olivier -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
