I'm using 1.4.1 for Mac. I have no problem editing styles - I've done it many times while working on a magazine over the last couple of months and successfully applied them. But if I try to base a new style on an existing one I get a crash.
I also get new styles appearing labelled 'Copy of'. Every so often I delete them.
