[scribus] scripture not working in OS X 10.8.3 / Scribus 1.4.2

Hi,

When I select Script > Scribus Scripts > CalendarWizard inside Fedora 18, a 
window opens up asking me to choose the format of the calendar. But doing the 
same thing in OS X 10.8.3 / Scribus 1.4.2 just gives me a blue spinning beach 
ball. No configuration window opens, and it just says "Running script?" ah the 
bottom left of the document window, but does not do anything no matter how much 
time I give to the script. Can anyone confirm that scripting works in OS X?
