Hey Everyone Thank you very much for your help. It did end up being the missing glyphs in the font I was using, or any other font I tried using. After much Googling of what font I should be using I found a somewhat related article that clearly says which fonts to use on the Mac when typing in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese fonts.
