I have Scribus (1.4.1 and 1.4.3) installed from ready made pkg(s). Both run
nicely on Mac OSX v10.6.8.
I would like to be able to print direct from Scribus rather than export as PDF
and to print via another application.
BUT, I do not understand the Printer Options as the parameter values are
represented by numerical digits.
The Manual states:

Print Dialog are only important to professional users, which in turn means that
the ?average? user can ignore them. It also means that we don?t have to explain
them in detail here, as they are (or at least should be) obvious to
professional users.
Hmmm!
I am using an Epson R1800 (at present). Attached is a screen grab (*removed as
file was to big) showing the options. Many/most of the drop down options are
quite meaningless, to me, but I need to be able to use them.
Can someone point me in the right direction, please.
