There was a bug in keyboard handling between Qt5 and system xkbcommon library. Is your Qt5 taken from Fedora packages? The issue in Sigil EPUB editor was tracked as https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1054646 and I think there were other bugs too. Dan
