picture captions are still an unresolved issue... if anybody proposes a simple way (both to implement and to use in scribus) i will try to integrate it. (i opened a ticket for it: https://github.com/aoloe/scribus-plugin-export-epub/issues/1 ) concerning the way text and pictures are converted, currently, the idea is to: - add all the text in a sequential way, based on the page where the flow starts. - pictures are also inserted in a sequential way. - if the text is "higher" than the pictures the plan is to place the ones in the first half of the page before the text and the others after the text. once the basic functionalities are in place, i would love to get sample .sla files, with suggestions on which rules to apply to solve specific cases... with hints on general rules to apply :-) ciao a.l.e p.s.: you can submit samples .sla by forking https://github.com/aoloe/scribus-plugin-export-epub and adding a directory in test/samples/ with each sample (collected for output!). please don't forget to add a README.md file explaining your sample is relevant and -- eventually -- an .epub file showing how the result should be!
