I was trying to assemble a floorplan, and decided to play with line segments. I would suggest that others try this out and see if you can explain the problems:
1. Start with a horizontal line somewhere near the top of the page 2. Make a copy of this with multiple duplicate, no X or Y shift 3. Rotate the copy 270? 4. Now group the two lines 5. Make a copy of this with multiple duplicate, no X or Y shift 6. Now, select the copy, then flip it horizontally, then flip vertically Look at the alignment of the bottom line of this pseudorectangle. Second method: Same as above, but instead of grouping the lines as in 4, just do a Shift-click to select both, then do the duplicate. Flipping is a little trickier since you have to click then Shift-click the other side so you don't select all four lines. This second result is better, but there is still a "malpositioning" of the bottom line. Where does this come from? Greg
