Thanks Jluc I downloaded your AppImage. Set it as 'Executable' and double-clicked on it. I got a question box about wanting to add it to the Menu structure and I selected 'No'. I then got another question box asking if this selection should be permanent and again I selected 'No'.
I then double clicked on the file and - nothing happens at all. I started again and this time selected 'Yes' for the first box - the second box did not come up again. Double-clicking on the file still does nothing and there is no addition to the Menu structure and my Desktop Icon (and Menu) still only brings up my old version. Have I missed out anything?? My OpSys is PClinuxOS 64-bit (rpm). Thanks IanW Pretoria RSA.
