[scribus] Odd font issue

This is probably not a scribus issue, but I'm checking here just in 
case.  Normally, I use scribus on my desktop to do the formatting on a 
weekly newsletter.  Right now, my desktop's in the shop, and I'm using 
my laptop.  In the past, this has worked just fine.  Suddenly, it can't 
find the fonts I need, even though they're installed.  If it matters, 
I'm running Fedora 32, fully updated.  If anybody's seen this before, or 
has an idea, I'd appreciate it.
