I have 1.5.8 here and playing with the shadow tool, I was wondering if it is able to produce a shadow within a form.

This is useful to make a tablet-like form or something that looks like a bottle cap lying upside-down on the table.

Or maybe there is a trick?

Well, I found that when I leave the form unfilled, I will get an inner and an outer shadow of its edge line. So I could try to fit another, slightly bigger form around it to cover the outer shadow. It is a workaround, but it's rather tricky.

And now I wonder how I can get a rectangle with widely rounded corners on the inside, i. e. a form like a tablet. Any ideas?

Everybody in holidays? :) Or is my question too weird to be answered?
