-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi scrypt users and tarsnap alphatesters,
So, scrypt 1.2.0a turned out to be broken on pretty much every platform except FreeBSD, and a couple people won some very easy bug bounties. I've fixed those issues now, but there may still be more problems and more bug bounties to be won... I've just uploaded new scrypt code at http://www.tarsnap.com/scrypt/scrypt-1.2.0b.tgz with SHA256 hash d8ed111b6f8be8d4d992e72d0bc1eb1ac29cc0c5381b3778d90947252c1f42d5 . You can also see the tree from which I rolled this almost-release at https://github.com/Tarsnap/scrypt if you find it useful to crawl through VCS history. Please test if this builds on your favourite systems! As before, official release in about a week if no problems come up first. - -- Colin Percival Security Officer Emeritus, FreeBSD | The power to serve Founder, Tarsnap | www.tarsnap.com | Online backups for the truly paranoid -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iEYEARECAAYFAlW4mHoACgkQOM7KaQxqam5f1QCfTkTkIyYNmzrypyeqaqUWus6z 1CYAoK8C9hVggZ29Yjt4bxDScxjXJE7p =IYg7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
