Hi, recently I have got some mails/issues[1] with people that are not able to get SDAPS running on OSX. As far as I know it works fine using MacPorts, however I am not able to test this myself.
Is there anyone who knows what steps need to be done on OSX to get
things running? It would be nice to have better instructions on the
website, so if someone could write a short step by step guide that would
be fantastic!
You could either send them over to me, or update the website/wiki
yourself.
Some notes:
* It would be nice if the GUI works.
* It would be nice to install poppler (GIR bindings) and OpenCV if
possible. If installed SDAPS is able to import/convert other
image formats including PDFs. This obviously simplifies the
usage of SDAPS as one does not need to be as careful when
scanning the data.
* LaTeX is needed
* reportlab should be installed
* A quick test can be done using the scripts in the tests
subdirectory
