For errors in single answer questions, I take the perspective that 'right
is right'. If they were told to bubble only one, but they bubbled multiple,
it is wrong. So I am not too worried about this. I don't even think that I
would want to know which ones they bubbled, just that there was a bubbling
error. I'd certainly want to be able to turn off any guessing algorithm if
you were to develop one.

I think the number grid question type would also be useful for surveys.
It's rather common to have some sort of number question on a survey in
development economics, for example.
