Hi,

that should work just fine, as long as the text is far enough away from
the corner marks. The corner marks should be positioned absolutely on
the page so they will not move around if you modify the geometry.

PS: You can run the "annotate" command to double check whether
everything is fine. This needs poppler GIR bindings to be installed
though.
