Hi,

I believe this works in principle. However, SDAPS is currently hard-
coded to use pdflatex rather than xetex.

You can, however, switch to xetex by editing defs.py and replacing
"pdflatex" with "xetex". This should work perfectly.

There is one small caveat with xetex. It seems that the font rendering
in xetex changes more regularly (in very minor ways). This may mean
that the questionnaire changes in subtil ways resulting in the survey
ID (the bottom right barcode) to change if you recreate the project. So
it might be a good idea to not upgrade xetex before you have finished
everything (I would also suggest that if pdflatex is used even though
the risk is much smaller).

Hope this helps,
Benjamin
