According to the mentioned document (AP08065 "XC800 Migration from
Keil to SDCC" V1.0, Sep. 2007) and the name of the file which is
available from www.infineon.com (SDCC_XC800_2.5.4B4_R1.6_Setup.zip)
the version of SDCC that that compiler is based on is later than
2.5.4 and before 2.6.0.

Please ask Infineon for the source of that compiler if you downloaded
it - as the code base is GPL'ed you should get it without hassle.
So far presumably noone has. Given that that compiler has not seen
an update for a few years it can probably be seen as a proprietary,
illegal and dead rip-off of SDCC.
Maybe it raises from the dead but then it should play by the rules
set by its code base.

The version of SDCC it is closest to is most likely dated between
2005-10-27 and 2006-07-10 so some of the release notes of
SDCC 2.6.0 and all of the release notes of 2.7.0, 2.8.0 and
the soonish 2.9.0 should apply.

You can also wade through SDCC's ChangeLog (you'll find
version 2.5.4 currently in the 7536th line from top).
Not all features and bug fixes are fed through the trackers
but if you for some reason really have to care you can browse
SDCC's feature and bug lists as well. Choose "sort by"
"close date" and "descending" and look for dates newer
than 2005-10-27.

Greetings,
Frieder
