You can try out MPLAB X IDE Beta which supports Linux,
Mac OS X along with Windows. It actually has a
SDCC plugin as well. MPLAB X IDE is based on
Netbean. It supports both PICkit 2 and PICkit 3.

It did not support PIC18F45K80 yet with PICkit 2
