I'm American, but I am NOT a well-trained American consumer, i.e. "if
it's old, it's bad, and if it's not new, it's old".
The UniSite was discontinued years ago. It's a DAC-per-pin
programmer, however, and the last firmware update (which includes new
device support) was last year.
I run a public vintage computer museum on the side, so I have an
appreciation for the "old". But when it comes to putting dinner on the
table for myself and my family, I am a commercial electronic designer,
and I use the best tool for the job, no matter when it was built, and no
matter what some salesman wants to sell me this week.
