It might not be technically too related, but the "forgot password" feature needs a revamp, as it score quite are on my informal benchmark (yes I've lost quite a few passwords).
I've already ranted about it in the forum and as a feature request, but here it goes again: Starting point: can't login, couple login/pwd doesn't work. The ez way: You put your email in /user/forgotpassword go to your inbox you receive an email containing a link Go to that page go to your inbox you receive an email containing a generated pwd You have to find the login form yourself and try the login password If it doesn't work, you're seriously out of luck as there is no way to recover it Oh, and as each layout put in a different place (if they put it) the link to change the password to something you might remember, you're going to enjoy the ez way quite often The easy way: You put your email in /user/forgotpassword go to your inbox you receive an email containing a link Go to that page and choose the password you want X+ On 03/12/2007, Gunnstein Lye <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello all! > > I have attached a little specification of some new password handling features: > - password validation constraints > - password expiration > > I'd like to know if some or all of this has allready been implemented, and if > the author is willing to share? > > best regards, > -- > Gunnstein Lye > Systems engineer > [EMAIL PROTECTED] | eZ Systems | http://ez.no > > -- > Sdk-public mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.ez.no/mailman/listinfo/sdk-public > > > -- Sdk-public mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ez.no/mailman/listinfo/sdk-public
