The Berkeley Sustainability Institute of Common Circle Education is thrilled to present the Art of Creating Community - Social Permaculture Forum (more info @ www.commoncircle.com).
This powerful experiential workshop explores ideas about people and the world that create deep and meaningful connections needed to make community sprout. We take permaculture lessons from thriving gardens and apply them to grow thriving communities. Through a set of simple exercises rooted in principles of nature, we will look at the relationship between our thoughts, feelings, emotions and language; and we will examine powerful ideas that can allow us to achieve our highest potential and create the community we want. This work based on the Heart of Now workshop as well as the Non-Violent Communication work by Marshall Rosenberg. Past participants of Heart of Now are encouraged to join us as assistants for this workshop. What: Art of Creating Community - Social Permaculture Forum (more info @ www.commoncircle.com).
