I'm just beginning to consider how to configure my steep hillside property in El Cajon in line with permaculture principles. e.g. astarting to put in swales to capture any winter rains.
My question is what kind of Fruit & Tree selections make sense in the east county area (El Cajon) My first goal is to get in the trees, but advice on nitrogen fixing plants, understory fruit, etc would all be welcomed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Bob
